Biography
Samantha (Sam) Jones first encountered the Doctor in his 8th incarnation in Totters Lane where he saves her from a gang of drug dealers.
Personality
Sam Jones has/had two separate time-lines, which diverge/began/came into effect through her traveling with the Doctor. The nexus point for these divergent personalities is San Francisco, 2002.
