Summary

Lieutenant Bernice Summerfield is supervising some construction work. She is captured and was supposed to have died. Meanwhile, Bev heads up a military unit that was wiped out. Benny spends her time being interogated.

  • Like most of the other stories in this anthology, this story takes place in an altered timeline created by Doggles' history machine; these timelines are (mostly) erased when Braxiatel returns things to normal.
