Prelude Warlock was, as the name suggested, a prelude to Warlock by Andrew Cartmel. It did not appear in the published novel.

Summary

The Doctor visits Pietia Marichev in Russia and receives a sample of a strange mushroom from Pietia's grandson Anatoly. Afterwards, the Marichevs are executed by soldiers and their house burned down.
