Antony and the Johnsons is an American music group led by Anohni. Their 2005 song "Hope There's Someone" was featured in the Torchwood television story Random Shoes.
The group was established in 1995, and, aside from Anohni, includes band members Julia Kent (cello), Parker Kindred (drums), Jeff Langston (bass), Doug Wieselman (horns), Maxim Moston (violin, arrangement), Rob Moose (guitar, violin) and Thomas Bartlett (piano). Anohni herself does lead vocals and piano.
