Teln was the uncle of Dorlan. Their tribe was forced into slave labour, constructing a stone temple for Coyn, leader of the Bear Men. After the arrival of the Eighth Doctor and Samantha Jones, Dorlan's people rebelled against Coyn. Teln was killed in the struggle. (PROSE: The People's Temple)
