Orbital are a British electronica group.
In 2001, they recorded and released a rendition of the Doctor Who theme. In 2003, BBC DVD included Orbital's version of theme in their DVD releases of that year as part of the celebration of Doctor Who's 40th anniversary.
In 2010, Matt Smith performed with Orbital at a concert using the sample of the Doctor Who theme tune.
