Brenda was Marlow's assistant and the daughter of Malcolm Stewart.

On Marlow's death she took his collection of magic supplies to the Braxiatel Collection. She was scared of the Brotherhood of Magicians because they would come to take away not only the artefacts but herself as well. She was apparently murdered, and the Brotherhood suspected Jason Kane of killing her. However, not only Brenda but Marlow as well were both alive. They intended to marry, something which the Brotherhood had disapproved, so they faked their deaths. (PROSE: Nothing Up My Sleeve)
