Ricardo Mendoza was a New York City councillor from Brooklyn in the 21st century. He was the only Mexican councillor in the city.
Before becoming a councillor, he used to eat in "The Castillo Mexicano", Gonzalez' family restaurant.
One year, he arranged to have a Day of the Dead festival in Green-Wood Cemetery, next to Sunset Park.
