A glass tube containing a sample of the ooze starts to shatter under the intense heat. (TV: Inferno)

Stahlman's ooze was a substance released from the ground as a byproduct of the drilling conducted by Professor Stahlman.

It was a green, viscous substance which originated under the Earth's crust and defied analysis. When it came into contact with human flesh, it altered them in both a physical and psychological manner, making them crave heat and turning them almost rabid. These humans were called Primords. (TV: Inferno)

The Glasshouse was later known to have held a sample of the ooze for study. (PROSE: Who Killed Kennedy) It was also used to transform a Doberman Pinscher into a creature known as the Stalker. (PROSE: The Scales of Injustice)

Sometime later, four members of a Rock band found some of the goo on the abandoned drill site. Horrified by their transformation into Primords, they soon grew accustomed to their new bodies. (COMIC: Untitled)
