Carter was a member of the human expedition of six sent from Homeworld to Deva Loka to assess its suitability for colonisation.
Carter and Stone were the first two members of the expedition to go missing, before the third and final member, Roberts. (PROSE: Kinda)
Behind the scenes
- Two two members who disappeared before Roberts were never named on screen. Carter's name, like Stone's, comes from page 24 of the novelisation by Terrance Dicks. As such, it is unknown if Carter was a man or a woman.
