A German patient treated in Thomas Monaghan's field hospital in St Michel had sewn his eyelids open to prevent himself from blinking while in the vicinity of Weeping Angels in July 1916. While in the hospital, he was screaming "Don't blink!" The Tenth Doctor noticed an image of a Weeping Angel imprinted on his pupil. (COMIC: The Weeping Angels of Mons)
