Black Peak was an mountain located near Tripoli, where a UNIT laboratory, which had been carved out of the rock itself, was based. In the 1970s, Dr. Rossi used the lab to study dust samples which had originated from Sequiz. Despite the heavy security measures taken, agents of a foreign power succeeded in breaking into the lab, abducting Dr. Rossi and stealing the sample. (DWA: Caught in the Web)
