Maureen Heneghan designed the costumes for both "The Pilot Episode" and An Unearthly Child. She was also a costume designer for the Stratford-on-Avon Shakespeare Company and for the Stratford Shakespeare Festival in Ontario, Canada. In addition, she has served as Associate Professor of Costume Design at Brandeis University, Waltham, Massachusetts.
