Drashigs are are thought to be the most dangerous predators in the universe. The Drashigs are native to a satellite of Grundle. They will eat anything from flesh to starships, though they prefer to hunt. They hunt by scent and they will never give up the hunt once they find a trail. The Drashigs are especially strong and can break through metal structures.

A colony of Drashigs were kept in Vorg's Miniscope where the Doctor and Jo Grant encountered them. (DW: Carnival of Monsters) Under the influence of a device that created fear-based illusions, Jo imagined she saw a Drashig. (DW: Frontier in Space).
