Mentu was the eldest son and successor to Pharaoh Erimem, named after her favorite brother, in an alternative timeline. His younger brother viewed him as weak and attempted to assassinate him, but Mentu and Erimem joined forces to upend Thutmose's plan. Erimem, fearing Thutmose was right about Mentu's gentle nature, ordered Mentu to attend Thutmose's castration to harden him in preparation for him to succeed her as Pharaoh. (PROSE: Echoes)
