Mavis Ransom had an uncredited part as one of the schoolchildren in "The Pilot Episode" and the final transmitted version of An Unearthly Child.[1] Ransom does not appear to have had any other television or film roles. The Internet Movie Database does not have a listing for Mavis Ransom, although it does list a Mavis Ranson[2] who was active in television around the same time "The Pilot Episode" part 1 was filmed, appearing in Dixon of Dock Green and other programmes. Whether this is the same person, however, cannot be determined.
