Zircon was a prince of Lindow and the son of King Quartz and Queen Mica.
Amethyst, the Queen of Tollund, agreed to end the war between the kingdoms if Zircon attended a ball and married a royal bog woman. After his plan to marry Ash under Xenotime's nose failed, she beat and tied him up in the middle of town and demanded that Amethyst's diamond shoes be brought to her by midnight, otherwise she would kill Zircon. With the help of the Tenth Doctor, Ash used the shoes to destroy Xenotime's bog warriors and reveal her as a fraud. (PROSE: The Bog Warrior)
