Lady Margaret Pritchard was the mother of Gwendoline and the wife of Sir George Pritchard.
Josiah Samuel Smith took their home, Gabriel Chase, and removed all knowledge of Mrs Pritchard's relationship with her daughter, whom Smith made his ward.
