Ultravox were a pop group in the 1980s, authors of the song "Vienna".
Professor Grisenko was a fan of theirs, and listened to their cassettes whilst serving on board the Soviet submarine Firebird in 1983. When finding out that Clara Oswald was from the future, he asked her if they break up. (TV: Cold War)

Although Clara didn't answer Grisenko's question, in the real world, Ultravox did split up, three times — in 1988, 5 years after the events of the episode, in 1996, after their first reformation of the band from the previous split, and in 2013, mere months after the airing of Cold War and roughly five years after their second reformation.
