Dean was a human who lived in Sheffield during the 21st century.
On the day he died, Dean tossed unwanted parts of salad from his kebab onto the street as he roamed the city of Sheffield. On noticing Tzim-Sha, he assumed that the Stenza warrior was in costume, one month too early for Halloween. Mocking the alien, he threw pieces of salad in Tzim-Sha's face. Retaliating in anger at the disrespect, Tzim-Sha killed Dean, stole one of his teeth as a prize and stomped on the kebab. (TV: The Woman Who Fell to Earth)
