Tip (Timothy) Tipping (13 February 1958 - 5 February 1993[1]) was stuntman/stunt arranger on three of the later stories of the BBC's original run of Doctor Who. He was the stunt arranger on Remembrance of the Daleks, The Curse of Fenric and Survival.
During work on Survival, he walked off the production because of the involvement of champion motorcyle racer/stunt rider Eddie Kidd, who was not a member of the actors' union Equity. Paul Heasman subsequently took over as stunt arranger.
Tipping died on 5 February 1993 when a parachute jump he was performing as part of a reconstruction for the docudrama/real-life rescue series 999 went wrong; his parachute failed to open and he fell to his death.
