Bowack was a pirate native to Dacea.
He was in love with Lady Arcanbryte, who also loved him. However, she was pressured by her parents to marry King Syllience. Bowack could not accept this and interrupted the wedding ceremony with two other pirates. He then abducted Arcanbryte and took her to his pirate zeppelin in a flying sled.
The Twelfth Doctor and Jata followed Bowack to the zeppelin and upon entering found him snuggling with Arcanbryte. As the lovers explained that they both didn't want the wedding to take place, Syllience came onto the zeppelin. He overheard them and explained that he didn't want to marry Arcanbryte. Everyone returned to the wedding ceremony and Bowack married Arcanbryte. (COMIC: Royal Wedding)
