The Montgomery Bus Boycott was an historical event in civil rights history. Started by Rosa Parks in Montgomery, Alabama on first of December, 1955, the boycott was enacted by black bus passengers throughout Montgomery, who refused to use the segregated bus services for over a year in the state.
