Tim Price was credited on The Tsuranga Conundrum for creating (and naming) the alien creature in that story, the Pting.

Outside of the DWU, Price is a screenwriter and playwright. He is a founder member of the Cardiff-based theatre company Dirty Protest, launched in 2007.

Tim Price joined the Centre for New Writing at the University of Manchester in 2015, and teaches screenwriting.
