Ed Gold was second in command at Bowie Base One. He was herioc and a bit of a rebel. When The Flood attacked Bowie Base One he witnessed several members in his crew get taken over. When the Doctor was taken into the Base he thought he was the culperate. He was later proved wrong. He was ordered by his Captain, Adelaide Brooke to evacuate.
