Susie Fontana Brooke was the daughter of Emily Brooke and the grandaugther of the Doctor's companion Adelaide Brooke. Her grandmother was the first woman to land on Mars and was in charge of Bowie Base One. Because of her grandmothers actions she was inspired to go into Space. This dream would be fufilled when she captained Humanity's first ever lightspeed ship to Proxima Centauri. (DW: The Waters of Mars)
