Terry was the deputy manager at the El Puerto restaurant in Penarth. Terry fancied Kirsty Lane, one of his waitresses.
Following a busy night at the restaurant, Terry learned that police had cordoned off Penarth Marina. He told Kirsty and fellow waitress Sophie Gould about the incident.
He had a friendly and good-humoured relationship with his staff. (PROSE: Bay of the Dead)
