I'm a bit new to this wiki and not sure where this properly goes on the episode page, but Jack sitting straddling the bomb is presumably a nod to the classic scene in the movie Dr. Strangelove (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dr._Strangelove) |

Discontinuity The Doctor says that by the 51st century, humans had spread through half the galaxy. but by the 42nd century, which is 900 years earlier, they had spread across three and a half galaxies. why the reduction as they should not have got smaller.
