Tears, or lachrymatory secretions, were the liquids secreted from an individuals' eyes during the act of crying. It could be caused by stress or pain, (COMIC: The Infinite Astronaut) as well as grief, guilt, anger and panic. (AUDIO: Harvest of the Sycorax)
