A cult in Moreton Harwood who worshipped the pagan goddess, Hecate. (Revealed to be Bill Pollock in a mask)
The cult's leaders were the head of police, Commander Bill Pollock, and the local postmistress, Lily Gregson. Known members are farmer, George Tracey, his son, Peter and police-man Sergeant Vince Wilson. They attempted to sacrifice Brendan but were thwarted by Sarah Jane Smith and K-9. They were arrested and put in jail. A half of Moreton Harwood's residents were members of the cult. (KAC: A Girl's Best Friend)
They were Sarah Jane's first enemy after travelling with the Doctor, The Master being the second.[source needed]
