The Voord homeworld was destroyed by Caleera's psychic attack, (AUDIO: Scenes From Her Life) prior to the 1970s. The planet's destruction violated established history. It caused the surviving Voord to form a survival flotilla. (AUDIO: Beachhead)
After encountering the flotilla in Stegmoor, the Eighth Doctor visited the Voord homeworld and found chronon traces of Caleera's TARDIS. (AUDIO: Scenes From Her Life)
