Shirley Henderson played Ursula Blake in the Doctor Who television story Love & Monsters.

She appeared in the mid-1990s Scottish police comedy-drama series Hamish Macbeth, opposite Robert Carlyle, and in Trainspotting and T2 Trainspotting as Gail Houston, the girlfriend of Daniel 'Spud' Murphy.
