Sarah Lancashire played Miss Foster in the Doctor Who television story Partners in Crime. Lancashire has appeared in numerous UK drama series, but is probably best known for her nine-year stint on Coronation Street from 1987 to 1996 and her BAFTA award winning performances in Last Tango in Halifax and Happy Valley.
