The Doomsday Manuscript was a report of an archaeological dig on Kasagrad, to a place where according to legend if opened would destroy the world. After Goram and Lacey, closed up the tomb, they split the record in half so that no-one could find the tomb. Bernice Summerfield was employed to find the pieces of the manuscript and find the tomb.
