Ed Driscoll was leader of the tree fighters. He took the medicine from David McCallister's compound but didn't know how to use it. The Sixth Doctor showed him. When a rogue time sphere, used by the Doctor to protect Earth from meson dissemination, grew out of control, it absorbed Driscoll and killed him. (AUDIO: Blue Forgotten Planet)
