Marcia Gracilis was a Roman, and the wife of Gnaeus Fabius Gracilis and mother of Optatus Gracilis. Being the wife of a wealthy man, she enjoyed an easy life and loved flaunting her status by throwing expensive celebrations. She was a notorious gossip. When Optatus went missing she was distraught, but took comfort in the statue that Ursus sculpted for them.
When Vanessa Moretti was brought to the villa in 120, Marcia told her Optatus' life story in the hope that she would be able to divine his location using astrology. She never realised Ursus' ability, and when Optatus was returned, she was unaware of how he was "found". (PROSE: The Stone Rose)
