Black Holes and the Uncertainty Principle was the title of an open lecture given at Aberystwyth University.
Prior to his death, Eugene Jones had planned to attend the lecture, prompting Gwen Cooper to attend it, as part of her investigation into the cause of his death.
According to a flyer advertising the lecture, it was given by the N. Wales Astronomy Society, and took place at the University's Science And Natural History Museum. The time and date were 7.30 on Thursday, the 27th, but didn't specify a month or year. (TV: Random Shoes)
