Professor Kyle was a Human Geologist from Earth who was the last survivor after her expedition was wiped out by the Cybermen's androids. After escaping from the cave, she alerted the authorities to order a squad of troops to search for bodies. When Scott and his troops came along to search the caves, she volunteered to go with them. A short while later, Walters picked up that the Doctorwas there, leading Kyle to speculate that he had killed her crew.
