Colin Andrew was a penciller and inker on six DWM comic stories. He drew one of the final Seventh Doctor comic strips before DWM started telling "past Doctor" stories between 1994 and the release of Doctor Who (1996). He is the only artist to depict Romana II outside of her appearance in annuals contemporary with her appearance on television. He is also the only artist to depict Steven in any comic strip. Moreover, Andrew is the most prolific penciller of the First Doctor since William Hartnell relinquished the role, having drawn half the stories featuring him in a non-parodic adventure.
