:I don't know what that 2% meant either, honestly and I don't remember any dialogue that cleared this up. as I accidentally deleted my copy of the story I can't check. the BBC official sypnosis described the drink as "addictive" but ISTR that no such thing appeared on-screen. I suspect they may have cut some dialogue for timing reasons, leaving this vague. --[[User:***Stardizzy***|***Stardizzy***]] 16:58, 20 February 2007 (UTC) | :I don't know what that 2% meant either, honestly and I don't remember any dialogue that cleared this up. as I accidentally deleted my copy of the story I can't check. the BBC official sypnosis described the drink as "addictive" but ISTR that no such thing appeared on-screen. ::Actually, it was mentioned in the episode that 2% of the population didn't like the taste of it (for example, in the factory, Maria cynically said to the tour guide that she was "one of the 2% with the 'wrong' taste buds"), and the idea of being addictive wasn't stated but implied (for example, all the children rushing for the free samples again in the factory). {{:User:Ghelæ/sig}} 17:04, 20 February 2007 (UTC) |

Wasn't it not that 2% had an immunity to its effects, but that 2% didn't like the taste of it therefore would not be controlled by it? At best, the relevant phrase (which should be easy enough to find in a one-paragraph article) should read that 2% of the Human population were immune to its attictive effects. ~ Ghelæ -talk-contribs 15:43, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
