References
- Yaz describes the Antizone as a "bleak, scary place full of strange, deadly creatures."
- The Antizone is characterised as "deadly", "deceitful", and home to "darkness dwellers".
- Team TARDIS entered the Antizone through a mirror, which Yaz notes sounds like a fairy tale, but not the kind with princesses rather, "the scary sort with red hot shoes and people's eyes being pecked out."
- The Antizone's purpose is to protect the structure of space-time, though the creatures there were no guardians.
- Within the Antizone, Team TARDIS met Ribbons, who Yaz describes as a "sneaky, deceitful creature". They had to make a deal with him despite the fact that he was obviously untrustworthy.
- Ribbons wore rocks and bone as jewellery and carried a hidden second knife.
- Yaz recalls that Ribbons was really rude to Graham O'Brien.
- Flesh moths are "mega carnivorous" and attracted to light.
- Flesh moths can strip flesh in seconds, leaving just bones and tattered clothing.
- Yaz is not sure what became of the Antizone, but hopes that no one else meets the creatures there.
Story notes
- Case File Nine uses imagery from TV: It Takes You Away.
Continuity
- Yaz recaps Team TARDIS' encounters in the Anti-zone. (TV: The Woman Who Fell to Earth)
