Poppaea

Poppaea Sabina, known as Poppaea or Poppy by her husband, (PROSE: The Romans) was the wife of Roman Emperor Nero.

In July 64, she tried to poison Barbara Wright, believing that she was usurping her throne. When the plan failed, she had the poison maker, Locusta, taken away to the arena. (TV: The Romans)
