Mark Benton played Clive Finch in the Doctor Who television story Rose. He also voiced Ellis in the Big Finish Doctor Who audio story Invaders from Mars and Jack Coulson in Energy of the Daleks.
Before Doctor Who, Benton had appeared with Christopher Eccleston in Russell T Davies' miniseries The Second Coming.
