Yvonne Hartley was a Mondasian who lived with her dad and her brother, Frank and worked at the hydroponics centre, which contained the only living plants on Mondas. She suffered from a chronic cough. When Sisterman Constant came, she recommended that Yvonne be called up.
She was taken to be converted into a Cyberman, but the power failed during processing, causing her to be converted without being fully programmed. She escaped the factory and returned home because she remembered wanting to show her father her “uniform”. Her father at first failed to recognise her but did after she uttered the word “Dad”. When he tried to remove her mask, she became erratic and died with her family. (AUDIO: Spare Parts)
