AMNN was an internationally transmitted American cable television news network. One of its frequently seen newscasters was Trinity Wells, (DW: Aliens of London/World War Three onwards). To date the exact meaning of the acronym AMNN has not been spelled out, although the channel's appearances in Torchwood suggested that the second N stands for "Network", as it was seen on screen as "AMN Network".
