Page name

The Thing, (superhero), The Thing (movie), Thing 1 and Thing 2 (Terror of the Sontarans), Thing One and Thing Two (Solar Max and the Seven-Handed Snake-Mother) are existing pages on the wiki. I'll go ahead and make Thing (disambiguation).

As for the superhero, I support "Thing" for the page name.

1. See Wikipedia and the Marvel wiki.

2. We would need to change two page names: The Thing (movie) and The Thing (Clobberin' Time!).

3. Having only one member of the Fantastic Four with a dab title looks wrong.

4. Consitency. We already have the Human Torch, the Invisible Woman, the Silver Surfer, the Hulk, etc. with out "The" in the page name. LegoK9 ☎ 04:20, February 2, 2019 (UTC)

Usually, it's our convention to omit articles in page names. And the general goal is to make as many page names as we can without having to resort to parenthetical dab terms. Since The Thing never appears in a DW story, we can't give it the preferred dab term of (story in which it first appears). So this solution, though slightly awkward, works about as well as anything else. Thanks to Thing (disambiguation) being emplaced on the two pages, it wouldn't be hard for the average reader to find what they were looking for. I don't think any solution is going to be absolutely perfect, so let's just stick with what takes no more than a couple of clicks to get to the right place. {{Rename}} removed.
