Jack Harkness suggested hazard suits too late as the 456 ambassador released a deadly virus into the atmosphere of Thames House. (TV: Children of Earth: Day Four)
Behind the scenes
- Scientists operating within the Vault wore orange-coloured "Cosifit hazard suits" while interacting with the Metaltron. They were promoted as providing protection against radioactivity, biological infection and hot soup spillage. They were composed of a newly advanced "flexi-material" which allowed the scientists to run when they needed to. (NOTVALID: The Last Dalek)
- The scientists' models were later coloured white and repurposed to represent Cassandra O'Brien's surgeons in K9: Deja Who.
