::Thanks for the apology, if only more users would take that route when they realize they've done something wrong. About our policies, we have 55+ years of material on tens of thousands of pages, so we have to have some guidelines. Greetings
Hello and welcome to my talk page, where you can spill out all your proof of how useless I am at editing and say how much of an idiot I am! Have fun! - FlowG32

Hi, please note that we have a lot of policies regarding upload and use of images on this wiki. Please take some time to read through Tardis:Image use policy and Tardis:Guide to images. Thanks Shambala108 ☎ 00:12, October 17, 2019 (UTC)
- Hi, no I don't think you're a "twat", I think you're one of probably hundreds of users who start editing on this wiki without reading through our policies first. And that's fine, but you have to accept that if you edit this way, you are going to run afoul of some of our policies.
- And if you look carefully at the deletion rationale I left when deleting your images, you will see that I cited the lack of a license as reason for deletion. In addition, I pointed you in the direction of our image policies. Sure, I could have told you specifically what other policies your images violated (and there were about three or four), but (based on my several years of experience as an admin here) it's better that you read the policies yourself so your images won't break any more. That's why we have the policy pages - so admins don't have to constantly type out long lists of "don'ts" every time a user breaks a policy.
- Another thing to keep in mind: in order to upload images here you had to have gone through the image uploading page that includes the following messages:
- "files must be appropriately licensed" (in the first box on the page)
- "You must choose the most appropriate license from this list" (slightly farther down the page)
- That's two messages, on the same page, saying that your image needs a license. You either ignored the instructions or didn't read through them entirely. Don't worry, you are very far from being the first person to do that. But now you know.
- Thanks for your attention. Shambala108 ☎ 01:22, October 18, 2019 (UTC)
