Eric Thompson (9 November 1929-30 November 1982[1]) played Viscount Gaston de Leran in the Doctor Who television story The Massacre. He was the husband of Phyllida Law and the father of Emma Thompson. He is best known for rewriting and narrating The Magic Roundabout in the UK.
