History
In 1462, the Ottoman Empire was ruled by Sultan Mehmed II. In that year, the Sultan's armies invaded Wallachia and overthrew its voivode Dracula, replacing him with his younger brother Radu. (AUDIO: Son of the Dragon)
In the 1850s, the Ottoman Empire and its allies, the British Empire and France, fought Russia in the Crimean War. Although the war was principally fought between Russia and the British Empire, Crimea was a part of the Ottoman Empire during this time. (AUDIO: The Angel of Scutari)
